From the National Archive site: "Caption: About 11:30 AM. Looking from beach NW'ly at tower, ruins of Keepers dwelling & east Haupt jetty. This is intended to cover Mr. Conway's photo #9 of May 30, 1921, but stood too close in. Weather very bright, wind from West; half low tide, etc."
