We understand that Mrs. John Heath, widow of the late John Heath, has been appointed keeper of the Goat Island Light, in this harbor, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of her husband last August. She has been in charge of the light since the decease of her husband, and no light on the coast has been better attended to or shone brighter.
