Comments:

After automation in 1974, the buildings were destroyed except for the lighthouse tower and fog signal building. Under the Maine Lights Program, the property was turned over to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 1998. It is part of the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge.
