Lantern brought ashore in 1981 and restored by Friends Of The Cedar Point Lighthouse. It is on display at Patuxent NAS Museum.

Land eroded away, eventually abandoned, replaced with beacon. Bell tower collapsed in 1957. Lighthouse removed in 1981.
