Comments:

The lighthouse tower was licensed by the Coast Guard in May 2000 to the American Lighthouse Foundation. The lighthouse was painted in 2011. The other remaining light station structures, including the keeper’s house and barn, a brick oil house, and a pyramidal bell tower, were transferred from the Coast Guard to the State of Maine after the light became automated. Some rehabilitation of the house has been completed in recent years through the efforts of volunteers of volunteers of the American Lighthouse Foundation.
